Transport Link Overview

Transport Links are point-to-point wireless links designed to transport either data or television programs from one point to another.

Video links accept baseband video and audio programs at the transmitter site and deliver baseband video and audio programs at the remote site.

Data Links provide a transparent conduit that preserves the native IP (Internet Protocol) throughput at full duplex operation with minimum latency.

Cable AML designs and manufactures a variety of baseband video and IP data links, as well as links transporting both video (analog and digital) and data.

Cable AML offers several product families:

  • The TRIP family of IP Data Links
  • MULTI-LINK family of Multi-Channel Video Links
  • 31-Channel STL (Studio to Transmitter) Links for Analog or Digital MMDS Systems
  • High Capacity FM Links (1 TO 18-Channels)
  • Portable TV News-Gathering Video Links
  • The TVLINK family of single-channel FM video links
